If you choose to link a financial account through Plaid, we securely access your transaction data to generate your spend insights and profile.
We never see or store your bank login credentials. We only request read access to your transaction data from Plaid, and will not have permission to any additional data or make any money transfer or payment.

2. Google Sign-In and OAuth

We use Google Sign-In to authenticate users and create accounts.

When you sign in with Google, we access:

• Your email address
• Your name (first and last name)
• Your profile picture
• Your Google User ID

This data is used solely for account creation, authentication, and to provide you with our services.
We do not use this information for any other purpose.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Generate and display your spend insights and profile

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, personalization, or any other purpose.

4. Data Processing and Retention

• Your transaction data is accessed through Plaid, transmitted securely, and processed using a large language model (LLM) to generate your spend insights and profile.
• Your data will not be used to train or improve any LLM models.
• Once your spend profile and report are generated, your raw transaction data are immediately deleted from our system.
• We retain your basic account and survey information (first name, email, age, ZIP code, gender, and survey responses) only as long as necessary to operate our service or contact you with your consent.
• You have the option of deleting your spend profile and report from our system.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

We may share data only with:

• Service providers who support our operations (e.g., Plaid for account linking and cloud infrastructure providers).
• Legal authorities, if required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety.

All partners are bound by confidentiality and strict data-protection obligations.

Lumie is intended for users 18 years or older.
We do not knowingly collect or store information from anyone under 18.
